Man critically injured in attack with stabbing weapon in Wittmund
A physical altercation involving two young men and two other men took place outside an amusement arcade on Auricher Straße in Wittmund at about 1:45 a.m. on Sunday. According to the current investigation, a 20-year-old man is alleged to have attacked a 41-year-old man with a stabbing weapon. The 41-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries and a 46-year-old was slightly injured; both were taken to hospital. The main suspect was provisionally arrested and remanded in custody. A minor suspect was released after police measures, and the investigation continues.
