Man injured with knife-like object in Wittenberg
According to police and prosecutors, a 30-year-old man was attacked by several people on Arsenalplatz in Wittenberg at about 17:40 on 10 September. Investigators say he was first approached and then assaulted with kicks and punches; one attacker is alleged to have used a knife-like object and injured him in the upper body. A suspected stab wound was treated at the police station before the man was taken to hospital for inpatient care. A minor suspect was arrested and remanded in custody by a judge. Two other suspected participants remain at large and the investigation continues.
