Three men injured after knife attack in Wetzlar

A dispute involving three men escalated on 9 February on Pestalozzistraße in Wetzlar-Niedergirmes. According to police, a 36-year-old man allegedly stabbed two other men in the thighs with a knife.

The two injured men received treatment at the scene and were then treated in hospital; police said their injuries were not life-threatening. A witness said the two men had previously struck the 36-year-old, who suffered facial injuries and was also treated by emergency personnel.

Police seized the knife and are investigating all three men involved. The 36-year-old was released after police measures were completed because there were no grounds for detention.
