Man holds knife in front of him during dispute at Westerhorn petrol station

A dispute at a petrol station in Westerhorn escalated between 16:00 and 17:00 on 5 October after two e-scooters had been left partly blocking the entrance, police said. A man first became involved in a verbal argument with two teenagers that developed into physical scuffling. Another man, who apparently believed remarks made during the dispute were directed at him, took a knife from the boot of his car and held it in front of him. A petrol-station employee de-escalated the situation and persuaded him to put the knife away. Police said the knife was not used to injure anyone and are investigating suspected offences.
