Man seriously injured in Wesel attack involving a knife
A 29-year-old man was seriously injured on Abelstraße in Wesel on 8 March. According to police, two men attacked him, punching and kicking him. One of the attackers then allegedly tried to attack him with a knife. The man fended off the knife attack with his jacket and was taken to hospital by ambulance. Police provisionally detained two suspects, aged 25 and 41, but released both after completing their measures. They face proceedings for dangerous bodily harm.
