Man threatened with knife in attempted robbery in Wesel
Two unknown men attempted to rob a 31-year-old man in Wesel early on Sunday. One of them first demanded money and a watch and threatened to beat him. When the man resisted, a second offender joined them and threatened him with a knife. The 31-year-old ran away, fell and suffered minor injuries; he received outpatient treatment at a hospital. Both offenders fled, and the initial search did not lead to their capture.
