Man threatened with knife after dispute in Werther
A 56-year-old man is alleged to have threatened a 50-year-old man with a knife and injured him with a hammer after a dispute in Werther. The injured and intoxicated man was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Bielefeld at about 13:25 on Tuesday. Police later located the 56-year-old and took a blood sample because he was intoxicated. The exact location of the dispute was initially unclear, and investigators are seeking witnesses in the area of Weststraße, Buchenweg, Ulmenweg and the adjacent park.
