Machete reportedly held in threatening manner during dispute in Werdohl
Two groups encountered each other near Werdohl railway station early on 12 April. After an initial verbal dispute, another confrontation occurred later at a fast-food outlet on the B236. Police said one suspect allegedly held a machete in a threatening manner, while another allegedly used pepper spray and slightly injured one person. The suspects then drove towards Plettenberg, where police stopped and checked them. The machete was not found in the vehicle. Police opened proceedings for threats and bodily harm.
