Man remanded in custody after knife robbery in Weißenfels
A 27-year-old man allegedly demanded a 40-year-old man's smartphone at knifepoint in Weißenfels on Wednesday evening. The victim had previously been lured into an apartment. After being told he could get the phone back by paying money, the victim fled and alerted police. Officers arrested the suspect at the scene and recovered the phone. A judge issued a detention order against the man on Thursday.
