Man threatens young woman with screwdriver in Unterweissach
A man allegedly threatened a young woman with a screwdriver in Unterweissach on Wednesday. A passer-by had earlier reported that he was walking along Welzheimer Straße with what appeared to be a knife.
Another witness noticed the incident and shouted at the man, who then boarded a bus. Police patrols detained him without resistance at the Heininger Kreisel bus stop. After police measures were completed, the man was taken to a specialist clinic because, according to police, he appeared to be in a psychological crisis. Police are seeking the young woman concerned and further witnesses or victims.
