Two people seriously injured in knife attack in Weingarten
A 32-year-old man is suspected of seriously injuring two people with a knife in Weingarten early on Friday. After a verbal dispute at a restaurant, he allegedly encountered his 31-year-old former partner again as she left and injured her. A 31-year-old man was also injured when several people tried to stop the suspect. Both victims were taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was arrested immediately after the incident, and a judge ordered pre-trial detention on suspicion of attempted homicide and dangerous bodily harm.
