Truck driver threatened with knife during theft at parking area
During the night from 12 to 13 June, a 35-year-old truck driver noticed five men between his articulated truck and another trailer at a parking area in the Weilerswist industrial estate. According to police, they had cut open the other trailer's cover and were taking cargo. When the men realised the driver had seen them, one of them threatened him with a knife and indicated that he should remain in his cab. The driver contacted police early in the morning. Nineteen pallets of razor blades and dental-cleaning materials were stolen, and criminal police are investigating.
