Woman threatens first aid helpers with butterfly knife in Weida
A 37-year-old woman was apparently in a mental health crisis while lying on Bahnhofsstraße in Weida on the evening of 6 December 2025. Motorists noticed her and attempted to provide first aid. Police said the woman drew a prohibited butterfly knife and threatened the helpers with it. She was placed in the care of medical professionals. She is being investigated for making threats and for an alleged weapons-law violation.
