Man threatens police officers with knife in Wangen
Police said a 36-year-old man in Wangen im Allgäu threatened on Saturday to use a hammer and a knife if police officers approached him. Before that, he was reported to have behaved aggressively towards other residents in the stairwell and in his apartment while in a mental health crisis. Officers took him into custody using physical force after attempts to calm him down were unsuccessful. Nobody was injured during the operation, and the man is receiving medical care.
