Man seriously injured in altercation in Waltrop
A 42-year-old man was seriously injured during a physical altercation at Raiffeisenplatz in Waltrop at about 8 p.m. on Sunday. Police said he had wanted to confront a minor over alleged disputes involving a relative of the 42-year-old. He then became involved in an altercation with the minor and an accompanying man and was also injured with a stabbing weapon. The injured man drove himself to hospital, where he was treated. The two men fled, and the investigation is continuing.
