Child threatens cashier with knife in Walsrode
On Thursday morning, a child allegedly threatened a 49-year-old cashier with a knife and demanded cash at a Famila supermarket on Verdener Straße in Walsrode. He abandoned the attempt shortly afterwards and fled without taking anything. Nobody was injured. Police later located the boy in the store car park and released him to his father after completing their measures. Initial findings indicate no connection to another incident in Walsrode earlier in March.
