Jogger threatened by armed man near Waldweiler
Early on 26 June, a jogger encountered a 21-year-old man armed with two knives in woodland near Klink, close to Waldweiler. She was not injured and reached safety on foot; the man did not move closer to her or pursue her. Officers initially located the suspect in the woods, but he fled and left the knives behind. He was arrested without resistance at his home at about 8 a.m. Investigators are examining, among other matters, an allegation of making threats.
