Knife robbery attempt against driver fails in Waiblingen-Hegnach
A 51-year-old driver was the victim of an attempted robbery in Waiblingen-Hegnach at around 21:00 on 13 February. After he stopped at a pedestrian crossing near the entrance to the locality, a person pulled open the driver's door, threatened him with a knife and demanded money. The driver shut the door and drove away unharmed. The offender then fled on foot with another person. Criminal police are investigating and seeking witnesses.
