Man injured by knife stabbing in Voerde
A 33-year-old man was injured in the neck with a knife after a dispute at his home in Voerde on 6 March. An unknown man and a woman are alleged to have gained entry to the flat beforehand. The male suspect is said to have first threatened the resident with a knife and then inflicted a stab wound.
The injured man fled to a nearby snack bar, where he received initial treatment. He was then taken by ambulance to hospital for inpatient treatment; doctors said his life was not in danger. Both suspects fled. Police identified a 25-year-old woman as a suspected offender, while the search for the male suspect continues.
