Two men injured in attack involving stabbing and striking weapons
Two men were injured in Voerde during an attack involving stabbing and striking weapons in the early hours of 27 April. At about 1:27 a.m., a witness saw a group of at least ten people physically attack three men aged between 28 and 42 near Waymannskath. One man was seriously injured and another sustained minor injuries; the seriously injured man was taken to hospital, and police said there was no immediate danger to his life. Duisburg prosecutors are treating the case as attempted homicide. A homicide investigation unit is investigating, and forensic officers secured evidence at the scene.
