Man threatens fellow residents with kitchen knife in Vöhringen
A 25-year-old man is alleged to have threatened and attacked several fellow residents with a kitchen knife at an asylum seekers' accommodation facility in Vöhringen on the evening of 17 March. A 32-year-old man suffered a superficial cut to his arm and received outpatient treatment. No other injuries were reported.
Several police units and emergency services responded after the emergency call. The suspect had put the knife aside before officers arrived and was arrested without resistance. Because he remained aggressive, he was taken to a specialist clinic. Police are investigating on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm, threats and insult.
