Man seriously injured with knife in Viersen
A 64-year-old man was seriously injured with a knife in an apartment on Hauptstraße in Viersen on Tuesday. According to police, a 51-year-old man is alleged to have forced his way into the apartment, injured the man and then left the scene. The two men knew each other. Police located the suspect during their search, took him into custody to prevent further offences and released him the following morning. Investigators are examining whether an argument preceded the incident.
