Pedestrian robbed at knifepoint in Velbert
A 47-year-old pedestrian was robbed by three young men late on 9 April in Velbert. According to police, the men approached him on Kettwiger Straße before one of them directly threatened him with a knife and demanded his waist bag. Another offender also snatched a bag he was carrying.
The trio fled with the stolen property on pedelecs along Kettwiger Straße towards Robert-Koch-Straße. A search has so far been unsuccessful, and criminal police are investigating.
