Pocketknife used in attempted deprivation of liberty in Vechta
Two men allegedly attempted to force a 23-year-old man into a car against his will in a car park on An der Probstei street in Vechta on 17 September. A pocketknife was reportedly used to make threats during a scuffle. Witnesses intervened, after which the men let go of the 23-year-old and police were called. One witness took a car key from one of the men, and officers later seized the pocketknife believed to have been used. According to the information available, nobody was injured and the background is under investigation.
