Man remanded in custody after knife attack on son-in-law
Following a family dispute in Ubstadt-Weiher, a 51-year-old man allegedly injured his 30-year-old son-in-law several times with a knife on Saturday evening. At about 6:30 p.m., the suspect allegedly approached the man in a living room holding a knife and stabbed towards his upper body and neck. The victim sustained multiple stab wounds to his upper body and upper arm and was taken to hospital. Relatives restrained the suspect until police arrived. He was remanded in custody after appearing before a judge, and the investigation is ongoing.
