Man injured with knife during attempted robbery in Trier
A man was allegedly injured in the hand with a knife during an altercation in central Trier on 8 February. He and two friends had previously been insulted by a group of at least three men. After one of the friends pushed a suspect, the suspect drew a knife, injured the man and demanded money from the group, police said. The group fled and the injured man was taken to hospital as a precaution. Police are seeking the unidentified suspect and further witnesses.
