Woman suspected of injuring fiancé with knife in Traunstein

At an asylum-seeker accommodation facility in Traunstein, a 30-year-old woman is suspected of attacking her 39-year-old fiancé with a knife on 30 September. The man sustained minor injuries to his neck and hand, left the building and approached a passer-by in the street. He was treated as an outpatient at a hospital.

The woman was arrested at the accommodation facility. As both parties remained silent after being advised of their rights and the man has a right to refuse testimony as her fiancé, prosecutors did not seek a detention order. The suspect was released after police procedures were completed, and the investigation remains ongoing.
