Man allegedly threatened passenger with knife at Taufkirchen station

On 12 May, a 40-year-old man allegedly threatened a 24-year-old passenger with a knife after an altercation at Taufkirchen station. Earlier, he allegedly threw a glass bottle at another, still unidentified passenger on an S-Bahn train and insulted the 24-year-old. The 24-year-old sustained a minor foot injury while fleeing and sought medical treatment. The suspect then allegedly hugged and kissed a teenage girl against her apparent will on the platform. Officers provisionally detained him shortly afterwards, and a knife was later seized from his jacket pocket. Federal police are investigating, among other allegations, dangerous bodily harm, threats and sexual harassment.
