Man accused of attacking mother with knife in Sulzfeld
A 37-year-old man is accused of suddenly attacking his 62-year-old mother with a knife in their shared home in Sulzfeld around midday on Monday and stabbing her repeatedly. She suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was flown to a hospital. After the father allegedly called for help, the suspect put down the knife and left the room. Officers provisionally detained him at the home. An investigating judge ordered his temporary placement in a psychiatric hospital on suspicion of attempted homicide.
