Carpet knife displayed during dispute on Stuttgart commuter train

Federal police are investigating suspected threats following a dispute on a commuter train at Stuttgart Central Station. Late on 6 August, a 36-year-old man allegedly argued with a 28-year-old man. As they got off the train, the 36-year-old allegedly pulled a carpet knife from his pocket and held it toward the other man; he reportedly did not make a stabbing motion. Two security employees stopped the situation. Officers took the man to the police station for further measures and seized the knife.
