Tram driver injured with pointed object in Stuttgart
A 23-year-old man is alleged to have injured a tram driver with a pointed object in Stuttgart-Weilimdorf late on 18 May. Police said he boarded a U6 tram at Bergheimer Hof stop. At Löwen-Markt stop, he allegedly struck the door of the first carriage and attacked the 55-year-old driver after it was opened. Officers arrested the man shortly afterwards, and he was due to appear before a judge.
