Man detained after stabbing injuries in Stuttgart
During an altercation in an apartment in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen on the evening of 5 May 2026, a 32-year-old man is suspected of inflicting stab wounds on a 52-year-old man and seriously injuring him. Police said the 32-year-old then fled and also sustained minor injuries himself. Officers provisionally detained him at a hospital in Ludwigsburg during the night. He was due to be brought before a remand judge at the request of prosecutors; the background and motive remain under investigation.
