Man threatens police officers with knife in Stuttgart

A 30-year-old man allegedly threatened police officers with a knife at Mailänder Platz in Stuttgart-Mitte on 29 November. Witnesses had called police after the man was said to have struck a 28-year-old man. When officers located and checked him shortly afterwards, he allegedly pulled a knife and threatened them with it. Officers arrested him and found additional knives, drugs, tablets and forged documents during a search. At the prosecutor's request, a judge ordered him remanded in custody the following day.
