Man threatens police officers in Stuttgart with knife
A 43-year-old man allegedly threatened police officers with a knife in an apartment on Mozartstraße in Stuttgart on Saturday evening. Officers had been called to the address because of a reported noise disturbance. When the resident opened the door, he allegedly approached them with the knife. An officer fired a warning shot, after which the man barricaded himself inside the apartment. Special forces provisionally detained him without injury. He was released after police measures were completed and is under investigation over the incident.
