Pocket knife drawn during dispute in Strausberg
Three men became involved in a dispute on Wriezener Straße in Strausberg on 27 January after a wreath-laying ceremony commemorating victims of National Socialism. According to the initial findings, differing political views led to the verbal confrontation. A 35-year-old man allegedly pushed one of the other men, drew a pocket knife and held it toward the second opponent. Both threatened men were able to leave the situation. Police located the suspect shortly afterwards, but he did not have a knife with him at that time. The state security police are investigating allegations of bodily harm and making threats.
