Straubing robbery: Three men suspected of threatening victim with knife

Pre-trial detention orders were issued against three suspects following a robbery in Straubing, on strong suspicion of aggravated robbery. At around 2 p.m. on 1 November 2026, the men allegedly used a pretext to enter the flat of an 18-year-old acquaintance. Inside, they allegedly demanded valuables from a 20-year-old while threatening him with a knife and striking him with fists and batons. The 20-year-old suffered minor injuries, and the men fled with two watches and a mobile phone. Several police patrols detained the men, whom police described as aged 19 or 37, shortly afterwards near the railway station. They were remanded in custody after appearing before a judge. Detectives are also examining whether they were involved in a confrontation with two young men on 28 October.
