Man seriously injured in altercation in Stendal
A 27-year-old man was seriously injured with bladed and pointed weapons during a physical altercation behind the Altmark-Forum in Stendal late on 6 June. He required emergency medical treatment. A special police unit provisionally detained a 26-year-old suspect the following afternoon. Investigators seized, among other evidence, a suspected weapon during a search, and a judge ordered pre-trial detention on 8 June. The investigation is ongoing.
