Shoplifter threatens detective with knife in Steinfurt
An unidentified shoplifter threatened a store detective with a knife at a discount store on Baumgarten in Steinfurt on Saturday evening. The detective had approached the man in the entrance area as he was attempting to leave the shop. The man then pulled a knife from his pocket and told the detective not to come closer. He subsequently fled on foot towards Leerer Straße. An immediate search was unsuccessful, and police are investigating and seeking witnesses.
