Armed robbery at supermarket in Sinzig
Two masked men robbed a supermarket on Kölner Straße in Sinzig at about 5:30 a.m. on 12 March. They followed two employees through a side entrance, held a knife in front of them and demanded access to a safe containing the day's takings. The suspects then fled on foot in an unknown direction with stolen property. The two employees were unharmed, and no customers were in the store at the time. Extensive police searches have not yet led to the suspects' arrest.
