19-year-old injured in suspected robbery in Sigmaringen

Three suspects are accused of robbing and abusing a 19-year-old for several hours in Sigmaringen during the night from Saturday to Sunday. Investigators said a 19-year-old suspect forced the man from outside a hospitality venue into a back room, where the victim was tied up. The suspect is alleged to have threatened and slightly injured the 19-year-old with a knife, held a pistol to his head and threatened further abuse. The suspects are also accused of taking cash and a mobile phone, destroying the phone and beating the defenceless man. The victim was released only in the early morning and went to police. A judge ordered pre-trial detention for the 19-year-old suspect, while investigators continue to examine the involvement of two co-suspects aged 24 and 30.
