Man seriously injured in knife attack in Schweinfurt
A man was seriously injured by multiple knife stabs during an altercation in the hallway of an apartment building in central Schweinfurt on Sunday. Following an earlier dispute, a man is alleged to have gone to his opponent's home on Luitpoldstraße and stabbed him with a knife. The injured man received treatment at the scene and was taken to hospital. Police arrested the suspect, and an investigating judge ordered pre-trial detention on urgent suspicion of attempted manslaughter.
