Armed suspects rob supermarket in Schwalmtal
Three unidentified suspects are alleged to have robbed three supermarket employees in Schwalmtal-Amern at about 9:10 p.m. on Friday. The employees were intercepted outside after closing time and forced back into the store. According to police, the suspects threatened them with a machete and a firearm and forced them to open the safe. They stole several cash boxes before fleeing. One employee sustained minor injuries. A search involving a police dog and a helicopter was unsuccessful.
