Two men injured in altercation in Schwäbisch Gmünd
A 40-year-old man was seriously injured with a knife during an altercation; his 41-year-old relative sustained injuries described as at least minor. The two men confronted each other on Thursday, 1 October 2026, at about 2:45 p.m. on Hans-Fein-Straße in the Bargau district of Schwäbisch Gmünd. Their dispute moved onto the street, where a stick was used as well as a knife. Emergency medical personnel took both men to hospitals. Police are investigating both men on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm; several patrol units and the criminal investigation duty service attended.
