Man armed with knife threatens police while fleeing in St. Annen
A 38-year-old driver allegedly fled from police in St. Annen on 9 March while armed with a knife and making threats. He had previously evaded a traffic stop in Heide and crashed into a ditch in Österfeld. Officers used pepper spray, warned that they might use firearms and fired a warning shot, but the man initially did not respond. After he fell while fleeing, officers subdued and arrested him. He was taken to hospital following the police measures.
