Man carrying two knives injured during police operation in Sassenberg
A 25-year-old man was injured during a police operation in Sassenberg-Füchtorf after a police officer fired a shot. Police said the man was carrying two knives, did not comply with instructions to put them down, and moved threateningly towards officers at the scene. The officer fired after issuing repeated warnings, striking him in the upper body. Police said the man's injuries were not life-threatening and that the officers were physically unharmed. Münster police are handling the investigation for reasons of neutrality.
