Man injured with utility knife during robbery in Sankt Augustin
A 37-year-old man was robbed in Sankt Augustin on 10 August after leaving a tram at Mülldorf stop. The unidentified perpetrator allegedly followed him, demanded his mobile phone, kicked him in the torso and pushed him to the ground. The assailant was holding a utility knife and allegedly tried to injure him with it; the 37-year-old sustained a minor thigh injury. The perpetrator took the phone and fled toward Niederpleiser Straße. The damaged phone was later found near the scene, and criminal police are investigating suspected aggravated robbery.
