Man threatens people with knife after theft in Salzgitter
On 28 October 2025, a man allegedly stole a vest from the outside area of a clothing shop in the pedestrian zone of Am Pfingstanger in Salzgitter. When an employee was later speaking with two people who had information about the theft, the man allegedly pulled a knife and threatened those present. He then fled. Police are investigating suspected robbery-related theft and are seeking the threatened people and further witnesses.
