Man threatens passers-by with kitchen knife in Seiffen
A 57-year-old man allegedly threatened passers-by with a knife in the car park of a Penny supermarket in Seiffen on Monday evening. Federal police officers subsequently found him in the store entrance holding a kitchen knife. He put the knife down without resistance when ordered to do so. Officers provisionally detained him and handed him over to state police, who are continuing the criminal investigation. According to federal police, a breath alcohol test showed 3.4 per mille.
