Man demands fentanyl with knife in Rothenburg ob der Tauber
A 34-year-old man allegedly entered a pharmacy in Rothenburg ob der Tauber on 2 January 2025 and demanded the pain medication fentanyl from an employee while displaying a knife. Colleagues noticed the situation and confronted him, after which he fled without obtaining anything. He later called police himself, admitted the offence and was arrested without resistance at his home. No one was injured. Criminal police are investigating on suspicion of robbery extortion, and the suspect was released after investigative measures.
