Man injured in stabbing at Rotenburg railway station
At about 3:35 p.m. on 4 February, an argument involving three men occurred near the access route to Rotenburg railway station. After the confrontation became physical, a 45-year-old acquaintance allegedly stabbed a 57-year-old man several times towards the upper body with a previously unidentified stabbing instrument, injuring him. Emergency services treated the injured man before he was taken to hospital; police said his injuries were not life-threatening. The suspect initially fled but was detained shortly afterwards following a search and later released after police measures because there were no grounds for detention. Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances.
